What is an SCS Trial?
Southwest Sports and Spine offers a temporary stimulator trial period so you can experience the results before comitting to a permanent implant. If successful, you will be referred to a neurosurgeon for the permanent SCS implant. This procedure may be offered to patients with chronic and severe radicular pain (pain that travels down the legs or arms) neuropathic pain (sensation from damaged nerve tissue) and who, for a variety of reasons, cannot undergo or has already undergone spinal surgery.
